Style 1947 is an excellent pump packing when high strength is required and low abrasiveness is desired. The resilient meta-aramid fibers of this braid provide exceptional abrasion resistance while limiting shaft wear. The braid is thoroughly impregnated with PTFE dispersion via Garlock proprietary coating process and coated with an inert lubricant, providing great sealing prosperities while maintaining the superior abrasion resistance. Excellent for use slurry pumps and mixers.
